I used them to capture the light on a portable photo to hold cab with the included 3M tabs. All 6 I used fell apart as the tape came off the backing allowing the light to fall off. I ended up using epoxy to glue them on instead. I also use them to attach my backdrops to the back of the photo booth where I added the metal plate. As a single magnet, they don't work as well as we'd like. If I use 2 together (3 sets) the extra magnetic attraction works. If you have these loose and close enough to put on when they connect 1 or both they will break and there is no way to put them back together as the pieces will then be pushed back where they broke so be careful if You combine more strengthen or let go. To disconnect, you need to push them apart, not separate them. As some of them broke due to the glue tabs failing I had to buy more and get another set, same just a different brand.
