Searching the web recommended this bracket for a 2018 Chevy Malibu. On arrival the item appears well made and sturdy and can be manipulated to fit many positions. The bendable vertical arm is incredibly strong, but can still be placed (with a little effort). Unfortunately, the mounting eyes are not long enough to fully penetrate under the screw heads of the front seat rail. The vertical portion of the bracket is wide enough not to fit between the sides of the seat rail. I built it in as much as possible. When my little wife moved the seat forward, the seat rail simply pushed the bridge out from under the rail. Tried to install from the side completely under the rail but there is not enough clearance to the center console for a proper install. Trying to fit next to the console, the bottom bar broke. I will be returning this item and the search will continue.
