Good. Be sure to properly adjust the tonearm after installation!

Got this to replace my old JVC table (from the 80's). I wouldn't say the installation was "fucking easy" as this is the first time I've replaced a cartridge. I reckoned the surgery would take 10 minutes and then I would relax with a beer and a Clash record. I was wrong! Performing these and most other platter operations is a very delicate operation that requires time, patience, and a very small screwdriver. You should be familiar with the alignment. I was not. I had no idea I would have to line up the cartridge, I'm ashamed to admit it. I installed it, put the record on and was blown away by how awful it sounded. the sound from the left channel sounded like it was coming through a distortion pedal. Luckily, there are some simple protractors online to help you align the cartridge. In doing so, I discovered that my arm's counterweight was mounted backwards (can't believe I've never noticed this before). It is a miracle that I have enjoyed the table for almost three years. After fixing it, balancing my hand and aligning the pickup, I was perfectly happy with the sound. The price is right here and it sounds amazing.
