So let's start with the good. This is a very durable piece. I was afraid it wouldn't because the one solid piece holding the top wouldn't be strong enough. In fact, he's pretty strong. Pickles is a healthy, happy 15 pound male. He has lost some weight but is still quite heavy. So I need a durable piece and this works very well for your big cats. Came with a toy. I don't know if it was extra or not but it was great. He loved it! He went straight for it. As soon as I got all the pieces out of the box, he went straight to his bed, lay down on it and started playing with his new toy. He then went straight to the stand before I could assemble it and started scratching it. This is a very good sign because like all other cats, he is very picky. Now for the not so good, but I still think it's very good. The cat bed that came with the kit is not the same as the picture but it was fine for me. Pickles generally don't like cat beds unless they are flat and the one I got was flatter than pictured. The one I got was fluffier and flatter. So it was a win-win situation for us. As you can see from the photos he took, he was sleeping next to his tree. Great purchase especially if you have a large cat. So Merry Christmas and good night everyone!
