Originally ordered L based on sizing info. It was too big for my compression needs. The M is much better, although the ankle is still a bit loose. Thanks to the color, it doesn't get very hot, especially in the sun, and is very breathable. Definitely recommend this product for full leg compression. background if that helps. I had an open fracture of the tibia/fibula and had an intramuscular nail placed in the tibia. The nail was inserted through my knee so it swelled up along with my leg. Once I was allowed to walk, I needed quite a lot of compression to keep the swelling under control. This item was almost perfect.
