If you are looking for a thicker case this is what you need. Very nice quality! Woven material and durable. If you're looking for thinner and more spandex, this isn't it.

In general the product is of high quality. My problem is that when I ordered a size that fits my thigh, the knee/calf compression is not enough. When I get a knee/calf compression. Too tight at the hips. So if you have generally slim legs like the picture, which you most often don't, I wouldn't recommend it. They then sent back the M and XL sizes and ordered a standard knee pad.

this would be great for my knee problem except it is too tight at the top. I'm 5'5", 145 lbs female and my thighs are muscular but not fat. I've bought both small and medium sizes. Wear it. Mid has a little stretch at the calf, ok at the knee but the elastic top is also too tight I need to roll it up.

Not what I expected, the material was very thick and the thigh was uncomfortably tight and I had to take them off every time I tried to put them on on. . If you decide to purchase I would buy one size larger than you normally wear. I missed the return deadline so was unlucky but would recommend looking at a few so you can see the difference between styles and materials.

I have used SO many of these things and always found problems with them. Smaller braces tend not to hold up well enough and require CONSTANT fiddling to keep the top end around the thigh. In public, grabbing and tugging as such is generally frowned upon! It's a great length, has great support and REALLY manages to generate enough warmth around my knee. Originally ordered L based on sizing info. It was too big for my compression needs. The M is much better, although the ankle is still a bit loose.
