Here's the problem. - Electrical Boxes

The only problem with this box is that the mounting for the white cable connector (which actually connects your wires) is that its mounting studs are on one end of the box, which limits the distance of your cable to that end limited. Thus, the other end has a larger volume. Conclusion: If you are connecting two sets of cables of different sizes, it may be preferable. If your two sets of wires are the same gauge, I would use the FX brand junction box instead. Check the images to ensure you are ordering the setup that best suits your application. Or do what I did, buy one at a time!
