I tried these trackers for managing a rental fleet. What I didn't know is that these devices don't tell you their status, don't give you the option to set up tracking, or have limited functionality within the app. I have contacted support multiple times. My biggest problem is knowing when the device is on and keeping track of it. When the device is turned on, the battery indicator lights up along with the red status indicator. That's all. That's all you get. The mobile app shows when it was last updated, but it doesn't necessarily show an update on every power cycle. Also, you cannot personally adjust the refresh rate of the device. You must call support to change the device's refresh rate. Why is it important? As for the rental business, there are times when guests don't respond or you need to redeem a car. This device is set to track motion. However, I want to be able to locate my assets in real time. It's no use to me if I can't update faster, especially if the vehicle is constantly moving. Finally, the app is very limited and not intended for this specific product. You can't set up speed limit alerts, or text or email alerts. I have had both devices for 3 months. I called customer service several times and will use alternatives in the future.
