Arrived damaged. Flimsy piece of junk

I was looking forward to my own LCD screen writing tablet. I know they're mostly made for kids to write on, but here's why I ordered one for myself. My children both have an LCD screen. One was ordered as a gift, but then I decided to order another for my other child and they could use their LCD screens in class since we homeschool. They enjoy writing their spelling words or seeing who can make a list of prepositions or verbs the quickest. And the best part about the LCD screens: no ink required, we're not wasting paper, they're fun to write on; the LCD tablets are thin and lightweight, plus we can take them on the go.One day, as we were schooling, I found I needed a new dry erase board. But rather than buy a dry erase board I got the bright idea to replace it with an LCD screen. This particular one struck me because of the size and the price.Once it arrived I unboxed the screen to find it damaged. Yes, I wrote on it, but the lines and dots were already there when I opened the package. I checked to make sure the screen wasn't locked, as there is a slide button on the back to lock the screen to prevent it from being erased. That didn't make a difference, the marks wouldn't disappear. The tablet itself feels very flimsy and cheaply made. I'm not at all impressed.I'm returning to revain and will order a different brand, even if it cost a little more.

Pros
  • Ultra light-weight, portable
Cons
  • The tablet is not equipped with any input ports, making integration with external devices impossible
