Review on πŸ›„ Crossover 2 Convertible Carry On: The Ultimate Travel Companion by Corretta Clark

Not perfect, but with many benefits including portability

I like the size of this case. It's smaller than a traditional scooter, so if you don't need as much space, this item will fit. Enough space for 1 or even 2 nights. Easily fits in a luggage compartment without taking up much space. It is made of very hard-wearing fabric, has high-quality zips and various carrying options. Let's start with them. It has a traditional shoulder strap but is larger than a shoulder bag so I found it too big to use a shoulder strap with a side pocket. It was slightly better if the bag was hanging on the back when using the strap. The bag also has 2 different handles, one on the back and one on the top, making it easy to grab and carry. What I liked best was the transformation into a backpack (see photo). It feels very comfortable even when the backpack is full. Yes it is big so be aware of your surroundings. But it makes transporting the bag over long distances very easy. The backpack straps are also hidden inside the luggage (see before and after photos) to keep the straps from hanging around when not in use. You'll need to unclip them at the bottom to remove the straps, so it's not a very quick process, but it only takes about a minute. Now let's talk about storage. This is where the bag becomes a hit for me. There is a very large laptop sleeve at the bottom of the luggage (see photo). I think it's actually too big and taking up space in the main storage compartment. This compartment is so large that it fits 2 15" MacBooks. I wish they would make it much smaller and leave more room in the main compartment. It's also very padded which is nice for a laptop but again that comes at the expense of space in the main compartment Main compartment. If you don't travel with a laptop, you can use this compartment for a pair of pants or a pair of shirts, so despite the size it can be useful There is a compartment for sunglasses that I don't quite understand, it's a very rigid compartment top of pocket and yes it protects a pair of sunglasses but takes up a lot of space for a bag that is supposed to be compact again it should share space with the main internal compartment (see pic of labeled compartment) This sunglass case is one I could use dispense with it altogether. Maybe I could find another use for it to carry something fragile but mostly I don't find it useful. Now I use it to store the sh on my shoulder strap. On the opposite On the side of the sunglass pocket is a small storage compartment (see photo tagged "Outer Top Compartment") that contains 2 small zippered pockets, a key hook and an RFID wallet pocket. This is a handy quick access but last but not least sought after bag, the main compartment The main compartment is approximately 4 inches deep when the laptop compartment padding is pushed all the way down. But as said, the shared space with the sunglass compartment cannot be compressed, so just takes up a lot of space in the main compartment. and nothing can be done about that. On the other side of the main compartment are small and medium-sized compartments that close with zippers. Each of them has enough space for a few clothes, but not enough for a pair of normal shoes (but sandals will do) The luggage doesn't have an expandable zippered pocket, so the size fits. These are limitations, and for some trips, I have to rely on more traditional carry-on sizes to suit my needs. It is very well made and I have no doubt that it will last for many years.
