Used for webcam works great!
I used this for my webcam and mounted it on a monitor tree on my desk. I don't like having the webcam on top of my center monitor as it always makes me look up and down weird. This mount allows me to conveniently position my webcam directly in front of my monitor so that when I'm looking at the other person, they see me looking at them, rather than oddly below or above them. When I'm not using the webcam, I just loosen the button and let it fall to the side. Too bad I didn't discover this mount a few months ago! Looks cool and professional and doesn't take up desk space.
