If you're looking for that odor-fighting diaper pail, look elsewhere. This bucket stinks (literally!) I can even smell it when it comes to just diapers. It has also picked up odors even though I've only been using it for a month. Another reason I bought this bucket was that it claims to not absorb odors. Not right! I used to have 2 diaper ghosts, but after my husband broke ours the second time trying to fit a giant toddler diaper through a small hole, I decided to explore other options. Compared to a diaper genius: PROS: This bucket holds more and is a lot easier to put in a diaper that kids can't get in, but it also hurts a bit to get in if you have it in a corner because you have to pull it out BENEFITS: Large opening for inserting nappies Holds many nappies compared to a nappie Genie Easy one-handed disposal All in all, this nappy pail is very user-friendly and works similarly to Nappy Genie except it holds more and is easier to diaper. However, it is far inferior to Diaper Genie at blocking odors. If you are looking for something that blocks odors, this product is not for you! For that reason, I'll probably just go with a resealable metal bucket to replace my decor. I hope this review helped you make a decision.
