I needed inexpensive beans for a party table and have used glass beans in the past. The glass is thin and breaks easily when stripped of melted candle wax. I placed these aluminum grommets in four candle holders (two pairs of identical holders) and found them very adaptable. For example, one of the pairs has a deep candle hole, so for a better fit I cut a hole in the bottom of the aluminum grommets and inserted the candles into the candle holders with the drip eliminators fully installed. The fit is amazing and solid and way better than the fit without the aluminum protrusion. I am very happy with the look and the price. It was a good buy.
