Review on 🐶 Merrick's Classic Dry Dog Food with Real Meat and Nutritious Grains by Tammy Jackson

I don't leave many reviews, especially bad ones to be honest because I usually don't care but I had to with this product as it affected my puppies' health and probably could too influence others. I bought this because I didn't feel like going to the store and I realized that at 4.5 stars how bad can that be? Well, the answer was bad. At first my dog only had diarrhea, which didn't bother me as he got sick when I gave him the new food. But one night, he started feeling sick — a lot. I've spoken to poop at least 4 times and then another 5 times when it was mostly goo. He also had diarrhea in the apartment, and there were several quarter-sized puddles of pure blood. When he vomited he was breathing very heavily, he wasn't drinking water or eating: I was seriously concerned he had parvo until I read the reviews here and saw that other dogs were having the same problems. The next day I went back to his old brand and he was back to normal. I have a small puppy (less than 20lbs) so maybe that's a factor in why he responded so poorly and other people here didn't. problem, but even if their pet didn't have these problems, I seriously doubt how beneficial it is for other dogs to eat this brand when they can do the same with mine. If you're looking for a quality dog food brand, I recommend going to your local pet store and buying Redford Naturals - I tried to find it here but Revain doesn't seem to stock it.
