Haven't photographed for a long time. I got the error again after entering some images into the company's Art in the Workplace program. My work was created 15 years ago when I had a photo lab. Luckily, one of my images was selected for display. So I started. This was enough to get the error again. So I started looking. I was thinking of another film camera when a friend suggested I look at a somewhat dated DSLR. In terms of lens compatibility, the D70 seems to be in a winning position. I found one here at Revain for an amazing $244. I had some doubts about the overall quality of a $200 DSLR. But boy was I wrong! The camera came almost in its original form. The camera (after some time with the manual) is easy to use. The controls are cleverly placed and they are. The body feels very secure thanks to the excellent grip of the hand. I bought a Nikon 18-70 AF-S DX lens online for $140. I want him to arrive. In the meantime I will borrow a Nikon 18-105 AF-S DX VR lens. So my pocket is $380 for a camera that once sold for around $1200? It fits me. Again pleasantly surprised by the smooth running of the camera and optics. Yes, the camera is only 6 megapixels, but that doesn't matter (at least to me). I think the quality of the pictures I get from this camera is amazing. For the price I paid for this camera, you could say it's an entry-level camera, but at some point it was one of Nikon's mid-range products. I believe only used D70s are sold at the moment. I recommend one of these to anyone who wants a really great DSLR without spending a lot of money. With the money you save on a camera, you can buy a good lens and have a camera worthy of the Nikon name and reputation.
