big enough to cover most parts.

It's really big enough to cover most of the floor. I have 4 plastic covers in a very large basement. Finished living room. However. breaks pretty easily! We need to glue the torn places together. It won't seep through the plastic cap but if you spilled too much paint I have a feeling it can seep through. We had one spot where too much paint spilled and it bled a little. We had a lot of paint stains all over the place and we have no problems with that. Really watch out for cracks though. :)
