I wear a 7 3/4 hat. It fits well because the knitting is stretchy but a little tight. If you don't close the bottom part, it's a little looser, but then it looks like you have a condom on your head. When you put on a cuff, the cuff needs to be very large so that it lies flat on your head. So it would be nice if it was a little shorter. Also, it has that wire stitching at the top where one line of the cross is longer than the other, giving you two areas that stick out on either side. This is a very thick/warm and easy to clean acrylic so I'm keeping it. If they could flatten the top cross stitch, make it a little wider and a little shorter, this would be a great hat.
