I never thought that a good shampoo could make such a big difference to my hair, but it's legal! I have medium to thick, very long hair, but it still seems that a small amount works best. I don't shampoo deeper into my hair (I leave most of my hair for the conditioner). The results of using this shampoo are incredible. You wouldn't think hair would react so violently to so little shampoo, but it really does! My hair has a richer, deeper color with more shine and NO PLUMB! I don't need any other products to achieve this look, just shampoo and a good conditioner. I don't need to use a flat iron or brush my hair. I really can't understand how good this is for my hair. The only thing I think is important is that I let my hair air dry (I shower at night and let it dry while I sleep). I think Fena's hair is the death of naturally curly/curly hair! This is the second bottle I've used and the first bottle lasted about 5 months. I only wash my hair once every 3 or 4 days because this shampoo not only moisturizes my hair but also doesn't make it greasy so I don't have to wash it as often. With a cheaper shampoo I had to wash every day. Honestly I don't think there is anything better than this shampoo for your hair. It costs money!
