I used to pay $30 for Fossil brand belts because they were made in the USA and they outperformed and also lasted 4 times longer than those imported from China. Fossil lists, however, were brought from now and not from where. So I gave the belt a try as it is made in Canada and I usually get the quality from Canada. This particular belt is beautifully made. The fold and stitching along the seam with the buckle are strong, there are no defects. The outer surface is smooth. the edges are perfectly cut and slightly rounded. the back has a firm dense texture and was well browned. The strap of the belt is really straight, although I've found that a slight curve in the cut usually fits better when wrapped around the waist. The thickness of the belt is 0.155 to 0.158 inches. It's good, but when I compare in the store I'm looking for something thicker, 10,000 or so. All in all, since I've been training my belts, if this belt is still in good shape a year from now, the truth will be known.
