The shipping carton was too thin and during the shipping process there was a hole in the carton around the clasp which could cause the hinge part of the clasp to come loose and stray ( rivets torn). The bolt had to be tied together, or better not put on yet, and made self-sufficient by the buyer with screws instead of rivets. I ordered the vertical version of this box and received the horizontal one. ? The design of the lid is poor, allowing water to drain off the edges and get in, which pools at the bottom. It was to have a slightly enlarged lid with notches to allow water to drain onto the bottom along the edges. I will need to create an additional drip edge lid to make it waterproof. It really lives up to the description of the advertised features.
