Review on Smith Optics Adult Snowmobile Helmet by Dusty Tofte

This helmet has to be one of the best gear purchases we've made as a family. My wife and daughter were beginner snowboarders last year and have reached intermediate level this year. No wonder they have had their fair share of falls and one in particular was life threatening for my wife. The helmet is the only reason she was able to catch her breath and keep going after a massive multiple flip stack on packed (hard) snow. There wasn't a single scratch on the helmet, and highway control said that was the only reason they didn't take the helicopter to the nearest emergency room. I myself was good at hiding in a snowboard park after landing face down trying to cross the quarter pipe and my forehead greeting the snow first. Again, I'm sure this helmet brand deserves all the credit. The outer material is very durable, the inner lining is very comfortable and the detachable ear pads are best for freezing gusts of wind. The color options mean there's something for everyone and the sizes fit the bill. I would have no hesitation in recommending this helmet to anyone who wants to have fun without forgetting safety. An excellent all-round tool made from durable and reliable materials at a great price.
