This is the second one I have bought. The first one got dirty as I've moved about 3 times this year and didn't remove the cover when I moved the bed. It still serves as a great cover for my bed. The first blanket held up great, my first apartment was infested with bed bugs and luckily my bed didn't break thanks to this blanket. I moved out immediately after this incident and washed the sheets before moving my bed to a new location. I no longer had bed bugs. You can also sleep on a sheet without a sheet as it is comfortable on its own and will keep you cool even in the summer (you can also use bamboo sheets to keep it even cooler in the summer). If you are a hairy person you might want to consider buying sheets as this cover tends to tug on and trap hair. Overall I'm happy with this case and if something happens to it I'd happily buy another one.
