Review on Ineo M.2 2280 SSD Rocket Heatsink with Internal Cooling Fan [M3] by Tommy Almasri

Impressive. Very impressive.

I use a fan but due to the way it is placed under my GPU I have disabled it now. You really don't need to cool the m.2 down to its lowest temperatures to get the best performance. And to be honest, the controller is the main component you want to keep as cool as possible. He, IMHO, is overloaded for the task of cooling your m.2. So he's doing a great job. If your m.2 was slow before, this won't happen again after installing this behemoth. Now there is a caveat. You need a longer screw to fix the m.2 drive. I couldn't get my existing screw to reach the bolt. However, I was able to use the screw that came with it. Which is a plus. Another caveat. You really need to take your time and make sure you place the m.2 drive properly on the bottom panel. I found it better to let the back of the m.2 drive protrude further than the bottom base panel. This leaves a gap for screwing on the m.2 disc.
