I booted the Unraid NAS with an old, regular-size USB drive. You don't want something sticking out that far (think of an accident moving a server, a broken motherboard USB connector, flash drive connector, etc.). Unraid boots from a flash drive with a 32GB limit. A USB 2.0 flash drive is recommended. I can't think of a better choice than this for this app. Every USB drive had some kind of software on it, but what kind of idiot would order USB sticks from random vendors on Revain and then install the software found on the drives onto their computers? Capture, format and use.
