Good as bag clips, bad as magnets
Enough spring tension to keep bags of chips closed, although wide bag clips would work better for multiple bags if the spring pressure was a bit more. The clips work well for sealing bags (which is what we bought them for), the flared tops slide out far enough to remove the magnet from a flat surface like a fridge should you want to use that feature. Hanging on our fridge, barely holding a 4x6 photo, the little clip struggles to support the weight of a child's drawing drawn on a piece of colored paper. It slides slowly over the refrigerator door. I think I like our old OXO pocket clips better but they still do their job.
