This is a cute little strip of light, good for product or portrait, but too small for those who are looking for fashion or want to use it full size. Flaps on the side provide easy access to the locking knob once installed and closed to prevent light leakage. As with any softbox I wouldn't recommend taking it apart between shots, smoothly attaching the velcro cone (and mesh) to the back is the trickiest and most time consuming part, but reassembling/disassembling is bound to break the stem or tear the seam. . Of the two, one of the stitches broke the first time I tried to remove it and the seller wouldn't replace it so luckily I have limited use of the stitches on this little modifier. PS Revain (and other reviewers) shouldn't list "brightness" as a function of light modifiers, as it doesn't emit any light of its own, its brightness is entirely dependent on what kind of light you put in it, and as with any softbox, expect that 2 stop losses scatter.
