Description of Neewer Centimeters Honeycomb Speedring Photography

By diffusing the flash, the softbox creates an even lighting that allows you to capture picture-perfect shots. Recessed softbox with fastening tape edges. 4 steel rods to support the softbox. Bowens mount design facilitates most studio flash accessories, e.g. softboxes, reflectors, beauty dishes, etc. Softbox equipped with grids. An internal & an external diffuser (both removable) for versatility in refining the hard/soft ratio of flash light. Easy to clean and set up. NOTE: The flash and light stand are NOT included.

Excellent, quite mobile and durable...

The only wish is that the zippers would be longer. Sometimes I turn on the flashes from the front and want the flashes to be deeper in the umbrella body. They're great for misfiring (shooting at the back of the screen and then ricocheting). I use them with powerful flashes and they can put out enough light to be easy to use and adjust.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • There are doubts

I love Neewer softboxes!

I really like using the newer softboxes, I've used a couple of umbrellas as well as 24 x 24 softboxes I was looking to buy a Bowens softbox but at this price I couldn't refuse. I'm using a Yongnuo strobe with transceiver, so there's no problem plugging in the strobe and swiping around to adjust the light. Also, the mesh fits perfectly and is easy to remove, as is the white translucent material. On the body is the softbox in the form of an umbrella, which opens quickly. Everything seems to be…

The perfect soft box for almost all occasions

I have never had a problem with Neewer products that I have bought and I have ordered a lot. From multiple softboxes to flashes and tripods, each has survived some very tough situations. This soft box is very durable. There are no assembly instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Once put together, you don't have to worry about it falling apart, even in windy conditions. The mesh is easy to put on and take off as it is held in place with Velcro. If you don't need a directional light…

Exactly as described

This is a really good value softbox. The build quality and materials are really on par with some of my more expensive softboxes. I find this to be a great addition to my studio setup. I've read many complaints about the lack of instructions and agree with those comments, but figuring out how to set it up really wasn't that hard. If you have a third-party softbox installed, you really shouldn't have a hard time setting it up. I usually leave this setting because it's usually one of the modifiers

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It's difficult to put together but when it's all done I'll need this.

Really difficult to put together and no instructions. However, I made it! It took me 30 minutes to assemble. All alone, slim lady 5ft 2in. That is possible. On the black cover there is a small pocket for a rod in each corner, one of the pockets has a velcro closure. which can be lifted to open the hole and let the rod protrude should be used for the last rod for easier handling. It takes some effort to put this softbox together, but when it's done, it feels sturdy. I was thinking of taking it…

Cute little strip of light

This is a cute little strip of light, good for product or portrait, but too small for those who are looking for fashion or want to use it full size. Flaps on the side provide easy access to the locking knob once installed and closed to prevent light leakage. As with any softbox I wouldn't recommend taking it apart between shots, smoothly attaching the velcro cone (and mesh) to the back is the trickiest and most time consuming part, but reassembling/disassembling is bound to break the stem or…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

I am pleased with the quality of the softbox fabric which feels durable. The Velcro is firmly sewn to the fabric edges and will not come off the fabric. Flexible rods fit tightly into reinforced pockets, which also close with Velcro. The Bowens Mount Speed Ring is cast metal and features a single knurled knob that allows the box to be rotated to any position around the mount. The casting is lightly smoothed to remove sharp edges, but its surface is not perfectly smooth. There are two holes on…

Decent budget stripe box but very blue

I work full time and was in dire need of some extra lighting modifiers for a one off job. So I got myself some Neewer soft boxes. This is a decently made box for a budget level striptease. The construction is reasonable, but some sewing points, such as B. the pen pockets, will probably not withstand repeated installation and removal. The rods will bend. they do everything Even famous. Apart from the old school fiberglass. They just break eventually. The diffused material is very light, so you…
