I had a $130 waterproof cooling mattress for my new foam mattress that I bought with the mattress at the mattress store. waste of money! I didn't like it at all. Because of this, the sheets slipped and fell in lumps. I tried this mattress topper and I really like it. To maintain a foam mattress, there must be a waterproof mattress cover to protect the mattress from absorbing moisture from the body, which will eventually ruin the mattress. It has a nice soft terry cloth finish on the top and what appears to be a waterproof coating on the bottom. He stays in place! The sheets stay in place and I don't wake up with the sheets folded underneath me. It has very deep corner pockets and I can't imagine a mattress being thick enough that it doesn't fit in. This is a very reasonable price for a good product. I recommend this product.
