This carrier was just what my daughter wanted for traveling (by car) with her cat. He suggested a metal frame to keep the tote bag from becoming a duffel bag. Frame assembly was disappointing. The side frames were too big to fit together. We tried everything we could think of to bring these tubes together. My husband couldn't even put the pipes together so he took the pipe from each side and sawed off about 2 inches. It worked! I'd also like to point out that it doesn't include a long shoulder strap or good thick padding. we knew that before ordering. I hope they redo the frame and add an overlay.
