Diamond dust is the only way! I put my knife down to get something out of my pocket, picked it up with the tip of my knife and rubbed it on the 8" x 3" loops. I'm not sure how much it is, but it's not that much. I could probably do it 50 times for 5 grams. It spreads easily and evenly. After processing, you can use the sling many times before reapplying the diamond dust. I cut faster than any pastes I've used and it doesn't fray the lines. Her blade glides over it as if it had baby powder on it. This is the only way.
