These are good swimming trunks. They are true to size. My 5 year old son is tall and thin and wears size 7 pants. They fit perfectly once the tummy has been fully toned. That's a great length. I like that they fit like board shorts and not like short and baggy swim trunks.

Got this for my 10 year old boy and the second time he put it on it started tearing at the side. The fabric is thin and cheap. I will not buy again.

My son loves this. He is tall but very skinny and usually wears a 7 or 8 in shorts/pants. They were a bit big for him, but we just tied them with rope and everything was fine.

My son really wanted a flamingo swim trunks. They are very cute and true to size - he is 5ft 6/5ft 7in, weighs 110lbs and 14-16 is perfect. (The only problem was the original delivery - instead of the 14/16 flamingo boys we received 4 men's camouflage. Fortunately, Revain's easy return and refund solved this problem in a timely manner.)

I bought these for my 16 month old and they are too tight. They don't really offer any stretch, so going up a size is probably better. I was worried the 2T would be too big, but it ended up being too small. If I had known that, I would have gone to 3T. Also these are very cute shorts and they are really good but they seem to run small so keep that in mind.

I have a very slim 6 year old and it is very difficult to find swim trunks that fit (he still fits in a 3T belt). I've noticed that many styles just have an elastic waistband that falls straight down. They have a functional drawstring waist so we can adjust it as needed. They are long enough to fit a tall figure and we can tie them tightly without bundling a bunch of extra fabric at the back. He swims every day and there have been no quality or color issues between bathing and washing.

I bought one of these swimsuits for my son earlier this summer, size 10/12. I just bought him another one the same size and it's WAY small! His other still fits, but I spent the money on this one.

It fits just right. This is a size 8, suitable for 8 year olds. The ties can be customized. Kiddo decided on the design and was thrilled. Easy to dry. I hope it lasts longer than one pool season.

Bought 14/16 for my son he is 4ft 11" and 93lbs. Good length, stay in place, won't slip off. Pleasant feeling on the skin. Nice looking red swimming trunks. Update: Used for beginner swim class, he said 10/10 would use again. It worked great.

These shorts were cute, the size was as expected, the material was suitable for swimwear, the colors were fresh and bright. I bought a 4th of July flag pattern and when I received it, I thought "enough for once". They're a little cheaply made. The inside label was sewn crooked and the mesh "underwear" looked very cheap. The mesh had larger holes than what you typically see in swim trunks. I thought it might cause chafing or irritation. I ended up sending them back because my son is a bit picky…

I like the light color options so you can see them in a pinch. They fit my son well and he loves them as he usually hates swim trunks. I had a friend put a Paw Patrol Zuma on them and they're still good for those who want to put some pressure on them.

I was talking about buying these shorts for the price but these are the best swim shorts I've bought for my son. He likes that they have pockets. He has had them for 2 years and I will be ordering a new pair next summer.

This is our second pair and my son loves them as they are light weight, comfortable and quick drying. However, after washing the blue couple for the first time before dressing, the rope broke.

Bought for a 4th of July party but he wears them all the time! They have been in pool water, sea water and washed over a dozen times and have not faded!

Excellent swimming trunks. My boys love bright colors. Very bright and very soft lightweight material. They are easily distinguished by their light color.

Fits as expected, they are also longer so they sit just above the knee. My little boy loves them. They tie around the waist but to be honest they fit so well they aren't even needed. Definitely recommend.

The grommets on the bottom of the bags feel nice and allow water and sand to escape. Fit is perfect for my 3 year old nephew. The haircut is very good. It keeps its shape, size and color after washing. My nephew was in awe of the skull and crossbones because, as he said, he was a "pirate."

I bought these for my son on the 4th of July and was nervous about the sizing as the reviews were everywhere. He is size 7-8, tall and slim. I have him 8 and they were perfect. If your child is stockier, consider sizing up for the waist. Washes well, colors don't fade. I will probably order it in a larger size next year!
