Description of PETG rod ABS Maker 1.75 mm, 1 kg, black

PETG (PETG), short for polyethylene terephthalate glycol, is a high-impact plastic made from polyethylene terephthalate with the addition of glycol. The PETG 3D printer rod combines the most useful characteristics of ABS (stiffness and mechanical properties) with the ease of printing that PLA provides. This is the best that can be taken from these types of plastic. The advantages of PETG are high purity with low shrinkage and superior layer bonding to meet your requirements for printing functional parts with higher durability. Many people who are into 3D printing are moving from using PLA or ABS...

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

This is probably the cheapest PETG, and of excellent quality. I found a new favorite brand of plastic, I will continue to order (In the photo, the lower surface of the part is printed without supports. It looks much better in real life, unfortunately, the focus on the phone is broken - I had to take a picture from half a meter)

Pros
  • Cheap Qualitative
Cons
  • Plastic bag - not vacuum, may become damp during storage

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

I like this plastic (I take it not for the first time from the manufacturer on other trading platforms). From - / + there is no vacuum bag (zip bag), there is dust / dirt (it is treated with a filter). In general, for such money (≈900) you can’t find a petzh.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • No vacuum bag, dust/debris

Money down the drain, poor quality product.

I used to take it all the time, now I took it, the thickness of the bar is different everywhere, from 1.5mm to 2mm, because of which the nozzle is constantly clogged or the printer cuts the bar with a clamp At the moment, 1.5kg is just thrown away . I will look for other options.

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

In general, for their money, very top-end plastic. I hope that ABSMaker will expand their assortment on the market. Different pros: Cheap Qualitative good coil Box quality Filament in a sealed bag with silica gel With its cons: A little dusty (solved by a filter that prints in 10 minutes) Still a bit damp, needs to be dried immediately. Or am I so lucky

Not at all what I expected.Terrible!

I strongly do not recommend it, if such quality is typical, then each print turns into a tape measure, whether there is enough bar of normal thickness for printing or the bar will get stuck. And the longer the print, the more likely it is not enough. Two six o'clock details screwed up

Pros
  • Plastic is good, prints flawlessly, but
Cons
  • In the middle of the coil, on a segment less than 50 meters long, there were 3 (! ) Sections with a bar thickness of more than 2 mm. Small fluctuations can still be overlooked, but a bar of such a thickness simply does not fit into the bowden and, at best, spoils the print. At worst, the bowden will have to be changed because it is impossible to pull out a well-seated or broken bar

I have already printed 3 coils of this plastic, I am happy as an elephant. This is my main filament and there is no point in changing it.

Pros
  • STABILITY! Both in terms of the diameter of the bar, and in terms of characteristics inside the coil and between the coils. Good winding. Turn to turn. Price.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Prints out beautifully! The temperature should be between 230 and 250 degrees Celsius. I adjusted it to 240 degrees Celsius, and the flight should go as usual. If you have properly adjusted the distance that separates the nozzle and the table, then there won't be any issues with the product adhering to the table. There is no evidence of "snot" throughout the printing process. The temperature of the table was adjusted to be between 60 and 70 degrees Celsius. When printing particularly wide or…

Pros
  • Wonderful plastic! This is the option that offers the best value for your money. You will have a difficult time finding anything else within PETG that is more valuable for such a price.
Cons
  • No defects found.

Prints great! The recommended temperature is 230-250 C°. I set it to 240 C ° - the flight is normal. If you have correctly set the gap between the nozzle and the table, then there will be no problems with sticking to the table. "Snot" during printing is not observed. The temperature of the table was set at 60-70 ° C. When printing very wide / long parts, the edges of the model come off, but I sin on the printer and my own hands - plastic has nothing to do with it. Several times I raised the…

Pros
  • Great plastic! For your money this is the best choice. You will hardly find anything more worthy for such money among PETG.
Cons
  • No deficiencies found.

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

The black reel ended before it could start, leaving only positive impressions, like the turquoise one. But the white coil turned out to be transitional. I started printing with white PETG, and finished with "invisible". This is of course a joke. Printing keeps stopping due to tangled filament. Unraveled, restarted printing, but again the transition to the "invisible" plastic. General impressions are positive. I will order more, with the hope that I was "lucky" with a white coil.

Pros
  • Didn't dry, printed right out of the box (black PETG).
Cons
  • Thread winding.

It cant be worse! A waste of money.

disgusting. The plastic is not the correct size. starts 1.75 after a couple of centimeters becomes 3mm and these waves every cm just ugly. BLACK DO NOT RECOMMEND Pros below: disgusting. The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

Its pros: Normal plastic. The main thing is to choose the temperature of the nozzle and heat the table to 85 degrees. Print speed up to 50 mm per second no more. With its cons: Garbage on the filament itself. Put a filter in front of the extruder and the problem will be solved.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Pros below: Inexpensive. Prints out of the box (when dry) well. Packed in a sealed bag with a lock, there is silica gel. Prints 235, 75 as specified. The rod is straight. Cons: Sometimes it gets confused on the coil, although perhaps this is not related to winding, it is difficult to check for sure.
