Review on PETG rod ABS Maker 1.75 mm, 1 kg, black by Micha Korkosz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

Prints great! The recommended temperature is 230-250 C°. I set it to 240 C ° - the flight is normal. If you have correctly set the gap between the nozzle and the table, then there will be no problems with sticking to the table. "Snot" during printing is not observed. The temperature of the table was set at 60-70 ° C. When printing very wide / long parts, the edges of the model come off, but I sin on the printer and my own hands - plastic has nothing to do with it. Several times I raised the temperature of the table to 90 C ° and this solved the problem of sticking almost completely, but keeping the table heated at such a temperature is somehow scary, so for now I am experimenting at standard 60-70 C °. If someone doubts, then I advise you to take it and try it. More than sure you won't be disappointed! From myself I want to add that PETG is a very interesting plastic. Firm yet slightly flexible. Robust yet capable of withstanding dynamic loads. A good option for printing gears, so if the price of nylon scares you, then I think PETG would be a good choice! It has the advantages of PLA and ABS plastics. Outwardly, it has a shine, so the finished models have a fairly presentable appearance, especially if printed in the best quality. The main thing is not to sand it, otherwise all the shine will disappear. Unless, of course, this is not included in your plans. :) PETG is my first type of plastic. The printer (Flying Bear Ghost 5) came with a small roll of PLA plastic. After theoretical and practical comparisons, I don’t even want to look at PLA. Definitely PETG. However, there can be many tasks, tasks are different, so look and choose for yourself according to your taste and color. :)

Pros
  • Great plastic! For your money this is the best choice. You will hardly find anything more worthy for such money among PETG.
Cons
  • No deficiencies found.
