Review on 🔊 TCL Alto 5+ 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer - Ts5010, Black, 32-Inch by Sarah Valladares

I bought this with a 50" TCL TV. Having owned a 55 inch TV for a few years, I know that the TV's built-in speakers are pretty poor, so I wanted to improve them. This soundbar sounds good out of the box. I would have preferred to be able to do some adjustments (treble/bass/etc) but none of that is available. It's good enough for a bedroom but not the quality you want in a home theater. My biggest concern is that the Alto 5 doesn't have an HDMI ARC input. Using it with a TCL TV is completely unnoticed on my other TV. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew it didn't have ARC (reviews for 7 mention ARC so I assumed everyone had it). I have to use optical and while it works and the volume up and down buttons on the Roku remote control the device, the mute button is now completely disabled. In addition, there is no volume indicator on the screen either. Of course, for something of the same brand as the TV, it doesn't integrate well. HDMI ARC input required!
