Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many actors have booked home auditions themselves, conducted through platforms such as Zoom, Vimeo Studio 6, OBS, and attended callbacks through Zoom or Skype. I'm tired of putting my computer on a TV stand with a bunch of drawers/boxes on top. So I decided to invest in this tripod. IMPRESSIVE! What a difference! I sincerely wish I had received it sooner. First, it is VERY easy to assemble. And also! The best part? If the casting director asks you to move your computer closer or further away during your audition, you can pick it up and easily move it closer or further away from you. With the drawers and boxes I used before, this was always a bit awkward. So yes, it's a really great instrument and looks very professional in my home studio. If you're an actor, GET IT! You will not regret it. :D Oh, and it has a neat spot for your phone (in case you need it for parties or whatever) and a small side shelf (for water or any props you might have been asked for).
