I would give this product 5 stars except that it stopped working about a month ago. I definitely saw a difference in my hair after about 4-6 weeks of use as I washed my hair (every other day). So I would say that it really strengthens/encourages the growth of healthy hair. Unfortunately it just stopped working thinking it was the battery I was trying to change and the battery compartment was rusty. I diligently kept it dry and removed the rubber massage plate to dry completely. I'm thinking about buying a new one but not sure if I want to replace it every 6 months.
