I already have the wet brush and love it. I immediately noticed that their handles are thinner and lighter, the plastic is "shiny" and smooth (like plastic children's toys), the bristles are less flexible. Another buyer posted photos of the differences in pink; that was my experience too. These fake brushes pull my hair like the real thing never does. I don't know what magic this thing was made of, but I like it. I have thick curly hair that is prone to split ends. As you can imagine, with a regular brush, this only causes me to rip chunks out of my head and sometimes the brush's bristle pad, which I use to rip off the handle. I have thick, wavy and generally unruly hair. I heard about this product from my SIL and decided to give it a try. I no longer put off brushing my hair to special occasions.
