So overall I'm very happy with this ceiling fan, it was a very confusing and complicated installation. There were many problems. I was able to overcome these issues and successfully install this fan. Now that the nightmarish installation is over I'm happy with the look of this fan. + The fan looks great. It's exactly the look we wanted and I'm happy with how it looks and how the fan and lights work. + Has the features and functionality we wanted. Different light settings. fan speed settings. And a timer to turn off the fan after a certain amount of time. I'm no fool when it comes to small projects like this. I installed other house features like light switches and light fixtures. That was a headache in $$. I sincerely believe that most disappointments could have been avoided if the instructions had been better. Instructions are nonsense. NO! They are worse than junk because I don't look in the junk for instructions on how to assemble and install the product I bought. I'm not even sure what they are for this fan. - The instructions for assembling the fan are incomplete and vague when there is a guide. - Where to place the lighting driver is unclear. You should hide it next to the LED strip. It doesn't say how to install the LED strip. I thought they have magnetic feet so they just stick to the bottom of the fan case. The same applies to the LED driver. It doesn't tell you where to hide the remote control receiver. You should lay it parallel to the ceiling and tuck it between the arms of the bracket. There is no other place for him. It was very tedious to connect the lighting cover to the fan housing. This could be clarified with a more detailed guide. Also, luckily, my partner has small arms and hands, and he was able to get in there to drive the screws. That part of the guide was just WRONG. The LED driver is connected to the top assembly of the family with two wires. The two wires from the lighting unit are both white. The wires you connect them to are multicolored. There is no indication of which cable to connect to which. If the lights weren't working and I had to disconnect the lights assembly from the fan assembly to swap those two connectors, I would remove and reseat the entire fan. I was that upset. So either I was lucky or it doesn't matter how they are related. It would be nice to know for sure - the guide does NOT give you instructions on how to set up the crystals. There isn't even a mention of crystals. He doesn't even acknowledge their meager existence! It was the final blow to the genitals. Overall I'm happy with how the fan and light work and how they look. I will never buy again because I value our sanity too much. Hey, that's cute.
