This is definitely a miniature! However, it is very cute and does what we intended it to do. Each part is taken out night after night and a part of the Christmas story/scripture is read to understand the meaning of each part. For the price it's perfect! This tradition is started with our 7 year old but definitely needs to be kept out of the reach of our 7 month old for a few more years!

Arrived in perfect condition. Every tiny piece is painted to perfection. There are still a few streaks of gold paint left from the star on the crib's roof, but that's a minor detail. As a child's toy, I would not recommend it for a child under the age of four. Pieces too small to choke. I'm trying to decide if this birth is inspired by the Vikings. Red beards and silver "helmets" are very original. I love it.

I knew this Christmas was small, but it was still so sweet. I look forward to bringing it out for Christmas and may never want to take it off. Although the pieces are tiny, they are just adorable. This is perfect for a small space that you want to fill with Christmas cheer and show your faith. I collect cribs and this is one of my favorite albums. I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.

It's cute, but definitely not for "kids"! It's not like this! The largest symbols are 1 inch and slightly smaller. Sheep is 0.50 inches tall while Baby Jesus, who looks larger in the photo, is only 0.25 inches tall. The packaging was terrible but nothing broke, it's for me so I'll keep it. But I just want other buyers to know that this is not a toy! If you want your kids to play with a Christmas set, I would recommend the Fisher Price set!

This small set is called a cradle. Marketing also makes it clear that the pieces are very small. They are. Tiny. So definitely a choking hazard for the little ones. But for older kids - to old ladies like me - they are perfect. Well made, solid, well balanced and carefully drawn with cute faces. This little nativity scene is a wonderful reminder of the season and fits perfectly in the small space under the 'tree' above our mantel. Safely out of the reach of pets and children.

I ordered this item using Prime Shipping and it was packed in a medium sized box and then a small storage box which I left for the manager Set after the vacation. The set is cute, I think I was just expecting it to be a bit bigger, but I should read the description better. This year he will be helping my 18 month old daughter put baby Jesus on Christmas morning but after Christmas I will be looking for a larger set and putting it in her bedroom which is perfect.

It's just PRECIOUS! It's very well made, durable and each of the characters has weight - not cheap at all! Plus, the faces on it are absolutely adorable! I'm just saying that the end of the roof (right side) broke off on delivery. Luckily I always have a wonderful glue (Loctite superglue) on hand. I can't tell you how many times this thing has taken me out of heartbreak/anger like it did right now. To be fair to the seller I thought it was well packaged but perhaps the box could have been…

It was a bit of a hassle to get a complete, undamaged set, but when I did (after 3 attempts and 2 different sellers) I was blown away by the set! The first set I received had 2 donkeys and the sage was missing and one of the figure's headpieces was badly chipped when it came with the replacement set, despite each piece being bubble wrapped. The third time had a charm and it arrived in perfect condition. However, my experience during the buying process does not change my opinion of the product…
