I give 4 stars mainly because it's a good value for money Has ratio but is impractical to use because of a companion app. I bought this because I need a smart plug that is not wifi so I can turn on/off my wifi system + router + HiFi (anything that connects to a splitter that connects to the wall through this plug is). So I have a schedule to stop everything at night and turn it back on in the morning. A timer works, but I needed the ability to turn it back on from time to time, for example if I have to work a little at night or wake up earlier in the morning. I can use Bluetooth between the floors (wooden house) and even outside the house. Companion app issues: 1. You may accidentally turn on or off the plug when you want to check the schedule or set the timer2. Sometimes the app won't connect to the outlet even from a distance of 2ft3. Sometimes the application doesn't read the actual state of the plug (the plug is on but the application shows it as OFF)4. There is a "PRO" version of the application that offers basic features like "Favorites" and Groups. and it is not even clear how much it costs, there is only a trial version for 90 days. Seriously GE?
