Purchased for use with grinder pump. The angle is easy to install. In fact, it's =too= easy to mount on the end of a trailer. Either the tabs that connect the plugs to the tube are not properly formed, or the gasket is too thin. In any case, it's a loose fit, which is why it keeps dripping when you reset it. Yes, the weight of the pump hangs on the elbow, but even if I put a stand under the pump, it still flows. Don't even consider using a backflush port. I almost took a bath when it splashed at both ends when trying to use it to backwash the gray tank. The elbow fit on the trailer side just isn't right. I have no problems with my regular drain hoses and in fact they are very difficult to put on and take off, they are so tight. Elbow = useful = to see what's coming out of the tanks, especially so the pump doesn't run dry and damage the impeller, and also to know if you need to flush the black tank again.
