As I'm no longer in my 20's, having a supportive, comfortable, functional shoe with grip has proven important to me as I get older. I am very active, but I often slipped or felt unwell while exercising. These Salomon exceeded my expectations so much. True to my size and not a bit of discomfort, chafing, tightness or anything else even wearing bare feet. No stone pain through the outsole and the insole fully supports my arch and achilles tendon. Traction is fantastic. I'm curious how they behave in snow/ice. Goretex works for my feet when my feet get cold so they don't overheat my feet. I'm not sure if my feet always got hot when they were too warm.? They are expensive, but in my opinion "You get what you pay for!" They were worth the price to me.
