👟 Women's Salomon GTX Speedcross 5 Trail Running Shoes Review

Previous Solomon models had a smaller toe size, less than average. They fit more like my Brooks Ghost sneakers. Delighted with this purchase.

Wrongly labeled but otherwise nice shoe. SO disappointed that they didn't fit as I ordered a men's size based on Revane's description.

These were good. But I had to go back because I read other reviews, they were small. So I ordered 8.5 instead of 8 and they were half the size. They are true to size and get your usual size. Would buy again as they seemed just as amazing as my Speedcross3 which was great. The only running shoe I've never had to break in.

These shoes have a very similar feel to boots but are obviously shorter. Quick laces are great. The heel is tight and the toe is nice and big. The profile is great on rocks. My only gripe is that I can feel the stones on the ball of my foot through the shoe, which becomes painful over time. Reminds me of wearing moccasins as a kid. I might try another insert and see if that improves.

I love these shoes! Tried them out for the first time yesterday. I was afraid of getting blisters as I wore them straight out of the box but didn't get any. They did a great job on a rocky gravel track in Sedona, Arizona. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I had to stop a couple of times to tighten my laces. I hope it gets better (hopefully not worse!)

I am loyal to Solomon and will wear these black shoes every day for a year. I have been buying Solomon sneakers for many years and have no complaints. They are awful - tight, painful and just plain uncomfortable. Surprising for me too as I loved the earlier releases. My knees were killing me after a 4m hike the first day and again the next day after a 2m hike! I want to return them as they were $$$$ but as I have worn them this is not allowed. As I'm no longer in my 20's, having a supportive, comfortable, functional shoe with grip has proven important to me as I get older. I am very active, but I often slipped or felt unwell while exercising. These Salomon exceeded my expectations so much. True to my size and not a bit of discomfort, chafing, tightness or anything else even wearing bare feet. No stone pain through the outsole and the insole fully supports my arch and achilles tendon. Traction is fantastic. I'm curious how they behave

This is my first purchase of running or Salomon running shoes. I bought them for hiking in the Teton mountain region. These shoes made a lasting impression on me! When I tried them on, at first I thought they seemed a little big. But when I put on my hiking socks and walked in, they were the perfect size. You have an "aggressive" profile.
