Review on ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Women's Salomon GTX Speedcross 5 Trail Running Shoes by Prettyboy Capers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoes for trail running.

This is my first purchase of running or Salomon running shoes. I bought them for hiking in the Teton mountain region. These shoes made a lasting impression on me! When I tried them on, at first I thought they seemed a little big. But when I put on my hiking socks and walked in, they were the perfect size. You have an "aggressive" profile. We did several hikes in the rain/mud, going over rocks and up and down hills. These shoes were excellent. I never slipped. Speaking of wet and dirty, I climbed pretty deep in some places. Despite the rain, my feet stayed dry and I was surprised that after almost drowning my foot in the mud, after a short walk through the tall grass on the way back to the car, there was practically no mud on my boots. The photos I am sharing were taken AFTER wearing these shoes in two different muddy situations and with no additional effort on my part other than walking on the grass. Very impressive! Comfort is very important to me. I work on my feet and have had surgery in the past to relieve pain in my feet. I had no pain from these shoes. They offered great support. I haven't had muscle fatigue in my legs and feet from wearing the wrong shoes. My first impression when putting them on in my living room was that they weren't very soft. But on the trails I found them quite comfortable. The treads themselves appear to absorb most of the impact. I appreciate that this shoe is offered in a larger size. I've searched several brands and very few offer a women's size 12. I've had to buy men's shoes in the past and when I shop online it's hard to know what men's size to try on and of course they're stylized for men. Fashion. Overall, these shoes exceeded all of my expectations. Especially when it started to rain heavily. Worth the money spent.
