I chose this because my 2013 Ford F150 came with the stupid Car2U junk. After months of trying to get it to work (I even bought an extra transmitter), I finally gave in and bought it. A few more wires came out of my factory mirror that I never used. I found a 12v power supply from an existing wire harness and ground and wired them together. The hardest part was removing the old mirror, which Ford has a clip system for. I almost broke the windshield, but I took the old one off. Its transmission range is amazing. I can hit the gates of my community from 1/8 mile away. It also works great with the newer MyQ garage door openers from Liftmaster and Chamberlain. I already had an additional transmitter for my wife's car, but I don't need it for that. I highly recommend this product.
