Charged up and asked to check the radio. 5x5 The description doesn't mention it, but there's a connector for a voice monitor at the bottom. It's hard to tell the size of the key from the picture, but it's small and doesn't reach the top of the radio. Does not affect the volume control. There isn't much radio traffic in the area, so I can't comment on the battery life with frequent use. Update: Huge difference in volume between analog and DMR on my radio. Found that I can set the volume on the radio to 10 and the volume on the mic and get the same volume on both.
