I gave 4* because if it serves your purpose it's very nice to have. That didn't work for me. I wanted it for painting, drawing etc. The surface on the countertop has a ribbed texture and I really needed a smooth one. It also sits too high on my bed (I'm ill) so I can't use it comfortably. I'm 5 feet 5 inches. I love that it has a drawer that holds a few loose items, but when the table is folded and carried away when the side of the drawer is down, the drawer opens and everything falls out. It is easy to carry, easy to open and close, and looks beautiful. It just didn't suit me. I have no doubt it will be perfect for just the right needs. If this is you, then I recommend it.
