I've just started writing reviews so stay tuned. I'm 32 years old and buy a lot of things online, usually after reading/trying reviews elsewhere. Pros: Cheap, good pictures (not DSLR quality), decent video Cons: Poor screen - I mean awful. (The screen quality is that of a 2.1-megapixel camera!), the screen is not visible in the sun, the flash is very bright, and photos are grainy at night. Basically, I was happy with the camera. I have a DSLR with a rifle and a point-and-shoot, and I bought it exclusively for a trip to Mexico. Last year I went to Jamaica and spent about $80 on disposable waterproof cameras and film processing. We chose a waterproof digital camera just to photograph water and this camera worked great. He took great photos on sunny days and underwater with reefs and pool/beach. I didn't have the problem of water getting into the battery compartment like the others. The camera was fine running it in about 2-3 feet of water and I always tried to keep it afloat when I could, just in case. I think if you take care of something, it probably helps prolong life. I was pleased with the camera's performance and price.
