Exactly what I needed!

I'm an amateur photographer and I have a couple of expensive DSLRs. However, I was uncomfortable taking it with me on my canoe trip, so I bought this camera instead. Of course it's not as good as an expensive DSLR, but for this event it scored EXCELLENT. Not only did it take decent pictures, but it was also very durable. I dropped it several times in the canoe and it flopped into the water with no problem. It was definitely worth filming during the water-related events. I had an old model that…

Not bad for the average user

The price made me buy it at 109.00 for a solid camera, it's very good. We also had this Fuji and I have to say it's a bit better and cheaper. I make a living from photography and honestly I don't need a point and shoot camera, I bought one for my wife. And I really like the picture quality you can get if you know what you're doing. The controls and menu navigation are very simple, there are some fun features like 3D photos etc and videos are pretty good for taking little clips of babies and…

Great camera for the price

I've just started writing reviews so stay tuned. I'm 32 years old and buy a lot of things online, usually after reading/trying reviews elsewhere. Pros: Cheap, good pictures (not DSLR quality), decent video Cons: Poor screen - I mean awful. (The screen quality is that of a 2.1-megapixel camera!), the screen is not visible in the sun, the flash is very bright, and photos are grainy at night. Basically, I was happy with the camera. I have a DSLR with a rifle and a point-and-shoot, and I bought it…

LOVE Olympus products!

I'm pretty tough with cameras, so after high school I bought an Olympus stylus. This camera has sailed the Caribbean, ridden down rivers to the top of North America's highest ski lift (twice), and has taken me through two Warrior Dashs on my wrist. When it finally started shaking, I knew I wanted a different Olympus. The Tough series was "the latest from the greatest" when I got my Olympus and cost more than I wanted to spend. Since then, the price has come down significantly, so I went for it.

Good camera for the price.

I bought this camera for my upcoming trip to Legoland, California. where my kids would probably spend most of their time at the water park. So for fun I thought it would be nice to get a waterproof camera. I'm by no means a camera expert, I currently have a Sony HX5V which is my main camera and without a doubt the best I've owned. Olympus is a good product and the photos turned out much better than I expected. They were clear and impressive. The video was very good too. I didn't have time to…
