We collect tons of "single taskers". One car for one purpose, another car for another... and keeping everything in our home became quite problematic - especially as some are not used but are used a few times a year. It's so feature-packed that it's far superior to single-tasking, and does the job ENOUGH well. The first thing we cooked was al fresco fried chicken. Moderately bruised, lightly oiled, but so crispy and juicy...it came out BIG! Also, the basket and oven are big enough to cook many pieces at once, which ends up saving me time. Even better, this oven cooks VERY evenly, so you don't have to move any objects while cooking! All of the chicken pieces came out beautiful and it was absurdly delicious. Cleaning has also been child's play. Any drips were quickly wiped off the drip tray and it was ready for the next round of cooking. To compare a bit with the fryer we have, this machine's cord still felt cool to the touch after going white for a while, while our fryer's cord was quite warm. Finally, the exterior is nice enough to keep on the counter if your kitchen can afford to keep it out/not clean. I've never tried grilled chicken, but I'm pretty sure either this or chicken is next. Absolutely delighted with this car!
